Is the 3rd Circuit About to Crush Another Federal Gun Law?

Something is happening at the 3rd Circuit and we are all for it. Washington Gun Law President, William Kirk, discusses how the 3rd Circuit, for the second time this year, has just swooped in and taken a case from the 3-judge panel. This time, it’s the matter of Williams v. Attorney General of the United States, a challenge to 18 USC Sec. 922(g)(1), the Federal prohibition on felons possessing firearms. This move by the 3rd Circuit, on the heels of them doing the same thing in the New Jersey assault weapon ban case, proves that things are really shaping up in the 3rd Circuit and this court is likely to become ground zero for the forseeable future in 2A litigation. So learn more today and arm yourself with education.
